The Short Version
To book with VUUME you need an account — no guest bookings. You must have the authority to let us into the property. Pay at the time of booking via Stripe. If you cancel, what you owe depends on how much notice you give. We’ll always do our best to deliver a professional service, but there are some things outside our control that we can’t be held responsible for.
Full details below.

Using our website or booking a service means you’re agreeing to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site.
Creating an Account
You need an account to book — we don’t offer guest bookings. When you sign up, you’re confirming you’re at least 18 years old.
Keep your login details secure. You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has accessed your account, let us know straight away at customerservice@vuume.co.uk.
Making a Booking
When you book a service through vuume.co.uk, you’re confirming that:
You’ve provided the correct property address and access details. You have the authority to grant us access to the property — whether you’re the owner, landlord, or an authorised agent acting on their behalf. You understand that your booking is confirmed once payment has been processed and you’ve received a confirmation email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if we can’t safely or lawfully carry it out.
Pricing and Payment
All services are paid for at the time of booking through Stripe, our secure payment provider. Pricing is visible once you’re logged in to your account.
We may update our prices from time to time, but if your booking is already confirmed, you’ll always pay the price that was shown when you booked.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel, do it through your account or by emailing customerservice@vuume.co.uk. What you owe depends on how much notice you give us:
Less than 60 minutes’ notice — full payment is due.
61 to 90 minutes’ notice — 75% of the fee is due.
91 to 120 minutes’ notice — 50% of the fee is due.
121 to 150 minutes’ notice — 25% of the fee is due.
More than 150 minutes’ notice — nothing is due.
If we need to cancel on our end — due to staff unavailability, an emergency, or something outside our control — we’ll contact you as soon as possible and either refund you in full or find you an alternative appointment.
What We Do and What We’re Responsible For
We provide property viewings, inspections, and key safe fitting. After each appointment, completed reports are sent to you by email.
We take our work seriously and aim to deliver a professional service every time. That said, there are situations we can’t be held responsible for:
A tenant or occupant refusing to give us access to the property. Property conditions or issues that weren’t visible or accessible during the appointment. Anything genuinely outside our control — severe weather, emergencies, road closures, and similar circumstances.
Inspection Reports and Observational Services
All property inspections carried out by VUUME are visual and observational in nature. Our reports reflect the opinions and observations of our staff at the time of the visit only. They do not constitute a structural survey, professional valuation, or legally binding assessment of any kind.
We make every effort to provide accurate and thorough observations, however we accept no liability for any loss, damage, or expense arising from reliance on our reports. Our inspections do not cover areas that are inaccessible, hidden, or not visible during the visit.
If you require a professional survey or formal condition report, we recommend consulting a qualified surveyor.
Our Liability to You
If something does go wrong on our side, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for that specific booking. We’re not liable for indirect losses — things like lost rental income, missed business opportunities, or consequential damage.
That said, nothing in these terms removes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any fraudulent behaviour on our part. Those protections always apply.
Our Content
Everything on vuume.co.uk — including text, images, logos, and the overall design — belongs to VUUME. You can’t copy, reproduce, or reuse any of it without getting written permission from us first.
While we work hard to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, we can’t guarantee that everything on here is error-free at all times — prices, service descriptions, and availability can change. If you spot something that doesn’t look right, let us know. Always confirm the details of your specific booking from your confirmation email rather than relying solely on what’s displayed on the site.
Linking to Our Website
You’re welcome to link to vuume.co.uk, provided the link is honest and doesn’t misrepresent who we are or imply any kind of partnership, endorsement, or association between us that doesn’t exist. We reserve the right to ask you to remove a link at any time if we feel it’s being used in a way that damages our reputation.
How You’re Expected to Use the Site
We expect straightforward, honest use of our website. That means don’t use it for anything unlawful, don’t try to access our systems without authorisation, don’t submit false information when booking, and don’t use bots or scraping tools to extract content from the site.
Links to Other Sites
Our site may occasionally link to third-party websites. We have no control over those sites and aren’t responsible for what’s on them or how they handle your data.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If there’s ever a dispute that can’t be resolved between us, it’ll be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales.
When These Terms Change
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will always show when they were last revised. Carrying on using the site after an update means you’ve accepted the new terms.
